How It All Started
About Steps Foundation
Steps Foundation is a non-profit organisation that was started in 2014 by Joanna Eliasson.
We are a Christian based NGO working with vulnerable children.
Our main mission is to Rescue, Rehabilitate, Reconcile and Resettle street children back to their families or otherwise find an alternative family to live with.
So that by the end of it all, every child will have a place to call home and live peacefully and safely.
Our Objectives

To improve the livelihoods for vulnerable children, youth and families.

To improve the living conditions for children living on the street.

To providing parenting, counselling, encouragement and to take action to prevent and respond to child abuse, violence and exploitation.

To rehabilitate and reintegrate children living on the street to their families.
